Southern-most city in Canada. Only Canadian city where you can look due north to an American city (Detroit). Was featured on the gameshow Jeopardy with the 'answer' "The first foreign country you come to when flying south from Detroit". None of the contestants answered it correctly.

On same line of latitude as Northern California.
Played a prominent role in the war of 1812.
Home of Hiram Walker's Distillery, makers of Canadian Club. The Canadian Club sign actually faces the Detroit River- built during US Prohibition- it was advertising to the 'thirsty'!

The bridge to Detroit was completed in 1929. The tunnel to Detroit is just over 1 mile in length.

The Big-3 auto companies are the major employers.

Jackson Park had a Lancaster bomber on display from WW2 until recently (it is being restored)

Windsor marks the end of the Underground Railroad.
There are immense salt deposits underground.
Longest continually European settlement land west of Quebec border.
Has a Guinness Book of records entry for having the shortest highway with the highest cost to build and taking the longest time to build per mile ( E.C. Row Expressway)
Home of Ford's 351W engine, the W obviously stands for Windsor.
