 ian Firearms Safety Course runs over 1 day from 9:30 am to 5 pm. Testing is
  completed on a day following the instruction which is booked independently
  from the course.  There is no additional charge for the testing.\nThis is 
 the course required for your non-restricted Canadian Firearms Possession an
 d Acquisition Licence (PAL).\nThis course includes 8 hours of instruction o
 n the date of the course and includes the testing which must be completed o
 n a subsequent day.\n \nTesting cannot be completed the same day as instruc

 age are only eligible to hold a non-restricted firearms license and as such
  will not be permitted to write the restricted portion of the Canadian Fire
 arms Safety Course exam nor take the course for credit.\nA minor’s li
 cense permits the borrowing of non-restricted firearms for:\ntarget practic
 e;organized shooting competitions;hunting; and,instruction in the use of fi
 rearms.A minor’s license also permits the acquisition of ammunition, 
 unless there is an age restriction under the provincial or territorial law.
